Putting the Yum in Grandma's Yam Salad
- 3 small yams, cubed
- juice of ½ a small lemon
- 1 avocado
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, minced
Steam yams until soft, about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mash avocado with lemon juice, and cilantro. Add cooked yams to avocado mixture and stir gentle to combine. Enjoy hot or cold.
